TripleA™ technology also reduces formaldehyde
and other high aldehydes making it suitable for additional beverage
applications. Its application covers a variety of PET packaging
applications such as mineral water, dairy, hot vending and any
other food and beverage applications that are sensitive to
aldehydes.
Handling
ColorMatrix TripleA™ scavengers are formulated as dispersions
of the active ingredient in ColorMatrix's proprietary carrier
system. It can be supplied as unique products or formulated within
ColorMatrix colorants. ColorMatrix will recommend the best use rate
depending on the expected level of AA following processing, storage
conditions and the final desired AA level in the packaged
product.
Recyclability
Extensive recycling tests have been conducted. TripleA™
received full endorsement from Petcore's recycling protocols
and from the North American Association of Post Consumer Plastics
Recyclers.
